Responsible for overseeing and managing comprehensive health insurance plans for employees. |

Assist employees with selecting insurance plans that best suit their needs and ensure timely enrollment. |
3. |
Manage the open enrollment period, ensuring employees are informed about the available plans, changes, deadlines, and assisting with the process. |
4. |
Provide clear communication to employees regarding their insurance benefits, coverage details, eligibility, and any changes in policy. |
5. |
Help employees navigate the claims process, address issues, and communicate with insurance providers on their behalf. |
6. |
Respond to employee inquiries about benefits, claim status, coverage options, and other related matters. |
7. |
Ensure insurance programs comply with regulations, labor law and policies. |
8. |
Stay updated on changes in legislation affecting employee benefits and ensure the hospital's plans align with current requirements. |
9. |
Ensure that necessary reporting and documentation related to employee insurance benefits are accurately maintained. |
10. |
Work closely with insurance carriers and brokers to maintain and manage the hospital's insurance policies and resolve issues or claims. |
11. |
Regularly review and evaluate insurance plan performance, cost-effectiveness, and employee satisfaction to recommend adjustments if needed. |
12. |
Track and manage the costs of employee insurance plans to ensure they are within budget and cost-effective. |
13. |
Sets priorities and plans implementation of daily activities, ensures implementation is completed in an organized manner following KKESH standards. |
14. |
Performs all duties in a professional, effective and confidential manner. |
15. |
Performs all other related duties as required or assigned. |
Requirements and Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Education / Licensure/ Professional Experience:
Bachelors in Insurance, Hospital/ Business Administration or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of two (2) years' experience health insurance in human resource/ healthcare facility/large hospital setting (Essential).
Insurance Foundations Certificate Examination (Desirable).
