Quality Specialist

Conducts continuous education staff at all levels in performance Improvement by using Quality Tools such as (Flow Charting, Root Cause Analysis, Brainstorming, Cause & Effect Diagram, Gap Analysis, and Benchmarking).Coordinates with department heads and/or supervisors to set indicators to be monitored.Enters all data collected to the computer using available software.Analyzes the data, and prepares statistics and comparison studies for each indicator per department on a monthly/quarterly basis.Reports all data, graphs and findings to QSP Director and requesting committee and/or department on a monthly/quarterly basis or as requested.Conducts an internal Data Validation for data and information.Submits data validation reports to the relevant Department Heads, Committee Chairs, or Team Leaders.Performs Patient Satisfaction Study. Reports all data, graphs and findings to QSP Director and requesting committee on a semi-annual basis.Manages Patients’ Complaints. Enters all data collected to the computer using available software, and reports all findings to QSP Director and requesting committee on a monthly basis.Demonstrates capabilities to identify problems, and initiate corrective actions and preventive actions.Monitors and documents all changes and improvement process.Demonstrates understanding of the special project or study requirement.Performs all duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner.Performs all other duties as required or assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy/ Nursing/ Applied Medical Science/ Hospital Administration from an accredited university (Essential).Master Degree in Quality Management or related field from an accredited university (Desirable).Professional Experience: Minimum of three (3) years clinical / administrative experience in a healthcare/hospital setting (Essential). Minimum of one (1) year Quality management experience in a healthcare/hospital setting (Desirable).
