Qualifications
Education / Licensure:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing in country of professional practice (Diploma from Western and similar countries, otherwise Bachelor’s Degree) (Essential).
Current Licensed/Registered Nurse (RN) from country of professional practice (Essential).
Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Classification and Registration in good standing (Essential)
Professional Experience:
Saudi:Minimum of one (1) year working experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute health care / hospital setting (100 beds or more), and which spent in Medical/ Surgical/ Paediatrics/ Operating Room/ Post Anaesthesia Recovery Room/ High Dependency Unit/ Emergency Room areas (Desirable).
Non- Saudi: Minimum of five (5) years working experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute health care/ hospital setting (100 beds or more), two (2) years of which spent in Medical/ Surgical/ Pediatric/ Operating Room/ Post Anaesthesia Recovery Room/ High Dependency Unit/ Emergency Room areas (Essential).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Provide assistance to all trainees and trainers on daily surgical training procedures.
2.Responsible in supporting utmost wet lab operations and safety and ensure protocols are executed in compliance to CBAHI standards and other regulations and directives that may be issued from time to time.
3.Responsible in managing and orgnizing all training courses and ensure that all requirements are met.
4.Responsible in overseeing all areas in wet lab are well cleaned, organized and safe.
5.Responsible in supervising all activites of tranings are properly executed and guiding the wet lab team towards ongoing and upcoming lectures and trainings.
6.Provide accurate complete and prompt reports of all Wet lab activites such as courses, attendance and other teaching lessons, to be submitted for the Director of Residency Training Department on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
7.Requesting Wet Lab supplies, equipment/ instruments, day to day operations.
8.Demonstrates current ophthalmic, emergency, medical/ surgical knowledge with ability to recognize and apply basic knowledge in Wet lab procedure.
9.Demonstrates the knowledge and skills required in recognizing potential emergency situations; code blue and emergency situations are managed competently. Uses assessment skills to triage patients, identify needs and set priorities for medical/ ocular emergencies.
10.Demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to assume supervision in the Wet lab.
11.Upholds the standards of the International Council for Nurses - Code of Ethics; seeks assistance from CN/ Nursing Manager to identify difficult ethical and cultural situations.
12.Demonstrates an indepth understanding of the nursing process in practice, with continuous and concurrent assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
13.Performs all duties in a professional, effective and confidential manner.
14.Performs all other related duties as required or assigned.
