Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. |
Takes the lead role in the overall maintenance of KKESH website and micro-sites. |
2. |
Collaborates with website content owners, video/audio production team, graphic designers and web developer to ensure uploaded website materials are grammatically correct, professionally translated from English to Arabic or vice-versa, web optimized and accordance to approved online publishing standards. |
3. |
Ensures that website contents are search engine optimized to guarantee the visibility of KKESH website in web search engines’ results |
4. |
Regularly checks KKESH website for possible dead links and broken links using online links checker or manual checking, as the case may be. |
5. |
Analyzes site statistics (e.g. page visits, time spent on site, links followed). Designs and conduct website usability test to increase usability level using site statistics as reference. Prepares usability test report for management and content owners’ information. |
6. |
Leads the quality assurance process for reviewing and maintaining content in accordance with the approved standards, guidelines and metrics. |
7. |
Develops KKESH online presence awareness strategies through relationship with mass media. |
8. |
Ensures that the website promotes positive image of KKESH and publishes the hospital’s achievements to the public. |
9. |
Ensures that the website provides full coverage and publicity of KKESH official events. |
10. |
Participates in the planning and implementation of organization-wide policies and procedures development governing website design, content authoring and use. |
11. |
Monitors evolving internet trends, applying current tools and technologies to the KKESH site, remains updated on trends in ophthalmic medicine as relevant to the website content development. |
12. |
Maintains accuracy in performing the above-specified assignments with due, expected urgency and in a timely manner. |
13. |
Performs all duties in a professional, effective and confidential manner. |
14. |
Performs all other related duties as required or assigned. |
المتطلبات والمسؤوليات
- Education/Licensure:
- Bachelor Degree in Communication, Media/Public Relations, Journalism, Management Information System or equivalent from an accredited university (Essential).
- Master Degree in Communication, Media/Public Relations, Journalism, Management Information System or equivalent from an accredited university (Desirable).
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years experience working in the capacity of media editor responsible for copywriting, editing, proofreading and/or web publishing. (Essential)
