Job Description

Responsible for development and implementation of hospital strategic plan, oversight and leader to optimal patient experience outcomes by supporting clinical and operational plans in accordance with all the requirements related to compliance with the hospital policy and procedures and accreditation standards.

Requirements and Responsibilities

Bachelor Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Social Studies or equivalent from an accredited University or equivalent from an accredited institute with minimum of ten (10) years’ experience working in healthcare facility/large hospital setting in patients related area (Patients Experience preferable), six (6) years of which spent in a senior/supervisory/managerial level (Essential).

Master’s Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Social Studies or equivalent from an accredited University or equivalent from an accredited institute with minimum of eight (8) years’ experience working in healthcare facility/large hospital setting in patients related area (Patients Experience preferable), five (5) years of which spent in a senior/supervisory/managerial level (Desirable).

PhD in Health Administration, Business Administration, Social Studies or equivalent from an accredited University or equivalent from an accredited institute with minimum of four (4) years’ working in healthcare facility/large hospital setting in patients related area (Patients Experience preferable), two (2) years of which spent in a senior/supervisory/managerial level (Desirable).

 Guide and manage implementation of activities that advance KKESH progress toward person-centered care goals.

  1. Promotes alignment between Patient Centered Care goals and KKESH organizational goals.

    Facilitates decision making and planning of Patient Centered Care with the CEO when additional authority may be necessary.

    Provide leadership for organizational development in line with the delivery of community and patient-centered healthcare models.

    Direct and implement practices and evidence-based strategies that support patient experience improvement initiatives.

    Facilitate and lead multidisciplinary teams towards improvement of healthcare experience and ensure improvement across all key metrics.

    Manage and integrate departmental services in alignment with the hospitals vision and mission towards delivery of quality care services.

    Identify and implement best practices to meet patient and family needs and expectation in all care delivery services.

    Collaborate with leadership teams in identifying, developing and implementing key metrics and assessment tools in measuring care services performance and areas of opportunity.

    Ensure that improvement plans are initiated and monitored especially in areas where improvements are needed.

    Review and analyze results of patient satisfaction survey data and other performance analytics in coordination with the Quality Management to track and monitor performance trends.

    Collaborate with other department heads to develop and implement strategies, action plans and competency validation to improve patient satisfaction survey findings.

    Perform consultation or discussions and training to maintain continuous participation and promote awareness on quality service excellence and patient experience improvement.

    Serve as a key resource to management, staff and providers to improve organizational engagement, leadership and partnership.

    Performs all duties in a professional, effective and confidential manner.

    Performs all other duties as required or assigned.
