Job Description
Provide technical assistance To computer system user. Answer question or resolve computer problems for client in person, via telephone or from remote location provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating system.
Requirements and Responsibilities

Responsible for the first line assessment of end-user problems relating to KKESH systems, software and/or hardware and their components, applications upgrade, purchase of new equipment and other related materials. |
|
Responsible for all activities necessary for the proper maintenance of PC’s, Printers and their components, and operating software. |
|
Assists the end-users in the installation of required PC software, including new versions or releases. |
|
Responsible for making the day-to-day operations of the Helpdesk (making sure incoming calls and walk-in customers get taken care of immediately or move the work order up to the appropriate person). |
|
Prepare evaluations of software or hardware, and recommend improvements or upgrades. |
|
Develop training materials and procedures, and/or train user in proper us of hardware and software. |
|
Maintains an inventory of all General purpose Application software and Operating Software owned by the Hospital. Keeps tracking of their movements in a regular manner. |
|
Answer user's inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems. |
|
Maintains contact with external maintenance vendors to ensure timely resolution of problems (repairs) for which they are responsible. |
|
Responsible for all the necessary and proper problem assessment of PC’s and peripherals by reporting problems to the subcontractor to ensure a timely resolution. |
|
Maintains contact with PC vendors in order to aware of new products and/or enhancements |
|
Provides technical assistance in decisions pertaining to replacement, upgrading, and/or purchasing of PC’s, Printers and their components, and operating software. |
|
Assists in the installation of new PC systems and is responsible for installing replacement or new components. |
|
Installs all required PC operating software and responsible for installing new versions/releases. |
|
Prepares and maintains a periodic maintenance schedule for all active computers in the facility. |
|
Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities |

Performs all duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner |
|
Performs all other related duties as required or assigned |
Bachelor's degree in computer network Technology, Technical Support, Software Technology or related field from accredited university ( Essential )
