Job Description
Responsible for the organization and the control of pharmaceutical supplies, equipment and materials used in the Hospital and the pharmaceutical warehouse functions.

- Qualifications
- Education/ Licensure/ Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university, with minimum of four (4) years’ experience working in a capacity of a Pharmacist in health care/hospital setting including unit-dose drug distribution, outpatient pharmacy, medication delivery services, narcotic/controlled substances issuance and record keeping, discharge pharmacy counseling and general medication counseling, and inventory management (Essential).

- Master’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university, with minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a capacity of a Pharmacist in health care/hospital setting including unit-dose drug distribution, outpatient pharmacy, medication delivery services, narcotic/controlled substances issuance and record keeping, discharge pharmacy counseling and general medication counseling, and inventory management (Desirable).
- Valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Classification and Registration in good standing (Essential).
- Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensures accurate receiving of all Pharmacy related supplies at receiving areas. |
2. Reviews delivery records (invoice, etc.) for accuracy and discrepancy before pharmaceutical delivery acceptance. |
3. Maintains and ensures accurate routine delivery of medication as required to different Pharmacy location. |
4. Controls preparation, issuing, and storing delivery of supplies and signs all receiving invoices from vendors. |
5. Contacts with other Hospital for exchange or issuing and receiving of urgent used medications. |
6. Maintains and oversees that the medical store and warehouse offices are kept in a net, clean and orderly fashion. |
7. Monitors and controls pharmaceutical supply receiving area. |
8. Conducts quality improvement tasks in conjunction with other staff members. |
9. Participate in reviewing and updating warehouse policy and procedures. |
10. Performs all duties in a professional, effective and confidential manner. |
11. Performs all other duties as required or assigned. |
